FAQ

Why is there a demand for an automated cover lift?

Spa owners are often hesitant to use their spa due to the cover’s weight or bulkiness, or inclement weather like snow and wind.  Our lift removes all these concerns.  With the turn of a switch your spa cover can be lifted out of the way in seconds and then returned to the closed position when you’re done.

Is the lift weatherproof?

Yes, the lift can be exposed to the elements.   A test installation has lasted through 6 winters in the high Rocky Mountains often seeing below zero temperatures and many feet of snow and ice.

Do I need to remove any ice or snow before using the lift?

No.   We have tested the lift up to 12” of snow.  The Neroklift’s lift raises and folds the cover, dumping the snow or ice behind the lift.

Can I use the lift when it’s windy?

Yes, up to a point.   As a matter of fact, the lifted spa cover often blocks the wind.   And works as a nice privacy wall too.   We have tested the lift in 25 mph winds gust without problem.    However, it is not recommended to use the lift in winds above 15 mph.

Can I install the NerokLifts lift?

Your spa dealer should be able to install the lift in a few hours.   If you want to DIY, we provide detailed instructions and installation videos.   It’s not that complex and the tools needed are in most handyman's toolbox.
